Physiotherapy Treatment Information
HOW WE TREAT: A clear strategy to your recovery with our Three-Step Approach.
When it comes to achieving a goal, a strategic and systematic approach is needed. Following the assessment, we will work together to complete the following steps. You will then get an overview of your best recovery strategy.
CLARITY. Clarify what needs to be changed.
Injury and recovery involve a complex interplay of various systems, each contributing to an individual's unique path towards full recovery. Knowing what elements need to be addressed helps to prioritise, plan, and avoid stumbling blocks.
STRUCTURE. Know where you are on the healing timeline.
The phases of healing are highly structured physiological processes which are precise in their sequence. Each phase allows for progression of loading or the addition of new load. The successful transition through one phase enables the flow into the next. A disrupted or incomplete phase can lead to persistent pain, weaker structures, and compensatory biomechanics.
RESULTS. Create your action plan to achieve results.
From #1. clarifying problems and #2. your position on the healing timeline, we create your Recommended Action Plan. This is your management and rehabilitation road map which will get you to your goal. Targeted interventions that you can easily implement in your daily life, with appropriate exercise done consistently, will help you achieve your best recovery.
SUPPORT AND PROGRESS. Do your home program correctly.
Your step-by-step home program is given to you on an app in which your exercises are presented in videos with explanations, we can track your progress, pain and you comment on each exercise as you go. Applying a little but precise effort with consistency gives exponential results!
